Product details
Woven Rosa Handmade Luna Throw.
Our Luna Throw hails from the stunning highlands of Peru's Sacred Valley region. The art of weaving is deeply ingrained in the culture, with knowledgeable artisans passing down their techniques to younger generations. It can take weeks or even months for a weaver to create their unique handwoven masterpiece on a traditional back-strapped loom, which typically measures 1 meter wide (depending on the artisan's arm span). Larger throws are crafted by joining two looms together. The rich, earthy colors used in Andean textiles have significant meaning and reflect the region's ancient heritage, dating all the way back to the Inca civilization.
