Radical Living was born from a desire to champion independent creativity and give brilliant makers and their stories a place to be discovered.
We’re curious about the things that make life feel good. What we wear. The objects we live with. How we care for ourselves. The rituals we create. And the people behind the things we choose.
That curiosity shapes everything at Radical Living. We seek out independent makers, designers and small brands creating with imagination and individuality, bringing together clothing, jewellery, beauty, homeware and objects for everyday life.
Life feels richer when it’s filled with things you love, people who inspire you and stories worth discovering.
Where It All Began
Radical Living began in 2018 with a Crowdfunder campaign, a small market stall at Broadway Market and Old Spitalfields Market, and a big belief in doing things differently.
From those early market days, Radical Living has always been about people, discovering brilliant independent makers, sharing their work and getting to know our wonderful customers who come through our doors.
A lot has changed since that first stall, but that connection hasn’t. Today, our shop continues to bring makers, stories and beautifully made things together, with the same sense of curiosity and community that started it all.
We may have swapped the market stall for a shop, but the spirit of Radical Living remains exactly where it began.
Situated in Lewes, East Sussex, a lively market town with a long craft tradition, Radical Living brings local makers, limited-run designs and a full programme of workshops together under one roof at 22A High Street.
