It’s as cozy and comforting as a soft mossy blanket, pure comfort you’ll want to wear all day!

  • Size: S
  • This jacket is made from a second hand patchwork quilt that needed some TLC
  • Outer material - cotton - Morris and Co. design made into textiles by Sanderson.
  • Wadding - likely poly blend.

From the Maker:

Hi, I'm Izzy the founder, designer and maker at Worn to Threads. I taught myself to sew in 2019, I'm currently studying an MSc in Sustainable Development aaand have a background in Fine Art. A bit of a journey eh?  Well it all probably started when I worked briefly at the Venice Arts Biennale and I found myself lost in where I stood in the creative industry - everything seemed so wasteful, abstract and confusing. So, I decided to learn about sustainability, understand the core of what I cared about and how it can be implemented into craft. At the same time I started sewing for myself and for other people, and I just fell in love with creating using textiles. This is how Worn to Threads began, combining craft, sustainability and purpose. All pieces are made by me in my little studio in Bristol, UK.

What We Love:

We love that Izzy chooses to work with second hand materials to keep waste out of landfill and use beautiful fabrics that already exist and need a new home/purpose.
