Original Strinsel undyed cotton Christmas tinsel

A softer take on Christmas tree tinsel, Original Strinsel is a 2-metre length of hand-crafted cotton string and thread. Its undyed, snow-like texture rests among fir branches for an understated, nostalgic look you can bring out year after year.

Details

  • 2 metres long; do not cut to size, as it will unravel
  • Made from 100% cotton string and thread, including Everlasto polished cotton twine
  • Handmade in small batches by This Thing Is String
  • Packaged using recycled or compostable materials

From the maker

Strinsel began with offcuts from other string projects. Hung on the tree, those humble strands looked like snow resting on the branches. Each length is now made at the maker’s oak dining table, ready to become part of a Christmas tradition.

Safety

Do not cut Strinsel. Keep it at least 1 metre away from open flames, candles and heat sources. No fire retardants are used.
