Sarma Works Handblown Glass Hair Pin.

Sarma Works Handblown Glass Hair Pin.

'After constantly struggling to get my hair up and out of the way, I began making hair sticks for myself and haven’t stopped wearing them since. I’ve always loved a scrunchie, but wanted something a little different and more sculptural for everyday use.'

Each piece is handmade by the brilliant Sarma from borosilicate glass, the same durable glass commonly used in chemistry laboratories, chosen for its strength, lightness and beautiful clarity.

Designed with softly rounded ends for comfortable everyday wear and easy styling.

Length approximately 6.5 inches

What We Love

Sarma Works creates beautifully sculptural handblown glass pieces that feel both playful and deeply considered. From delicate hair pins and jewellery to kiln-fused objects and ritual pieces, every item carries a real sense of craftsmanship and individuality. We especially love the organic forms, light-catching textures and the way each piece feels completely one of a kind.

From the Maker

Sarma Works is an evolving glass practice working across stained glass, kiln fused glass and lampworking techniques. Inspired by folklore, geology, nature and the quiet details of everyday life, each piece is individually handmade with patience and intention. No two are exactly alike, celebrating the beauty of slow craft and organic imperfection.
