Calendula petals and white clay are blended with bergamot, orange blossom and Taiwanese ho wood, creating a soft, uplifting fragrance reminiscent of Victorian orangeries and Earl Grey tea. The organic goat milk, olive oil, shea butter and honey base creates a rich, conditioning lather that feels wonderfully gentle on the skin.

Handmade in small batches by Lili, the maker behind Hag of the Mist, whose soaps are inspired by folklore, mythology, nature and the changing seasons.
Mary’s Tears celebrates calendula, a golden cottage-garden flower that continues blooming from late summer into early autumn. Rich in plant folklore, calendula has long been associated with the sun and the changing of the seasons, making this bar a beautiful ode to that moment when summer slowly begins to turn towards autumn.
What We Love
We love how delicate and comforting this one feels. Bergamot and orange blossom give it a beautiful citrus-floral scent, while calendula and creamy goat milk make the whole bar feel wonderfully gentle. The subtle Earl Grey-like fragrance is especially lovely — fresh, soft and a little nostalgic.
