Product details

Studio Doa Kukua Earring Sterling Silver.

Named after the Swahili word kukua — meaning to grow — these sculptural earrings draw inspiration from the elongated form of mangrove seed pods.

Crafted by hand in Kenya from hollow sterling silver or gold-plated silver, the Kukua Earrings are bold yet lightweight. Available in two cascading silhouettes: five layers for a dramatic drop, or three for an understated sway.

What we love:
Their fluid movement and organic form — a statement of growth, rooted in nature and crafted with care.

From the Maker
Doa is a London, Nairobi-based design label founded by Katie Macleod. Rooted in the language of sculpture and surrealism, Doa explores transience, imprint, and the dialogue between material and maker. Each piece is designed to hold the traces of its creation, the ripple, the indentation, the story. Handcrafted between the UK and Kenya, Doa jewellery celebrates form, texture, and quiet strength.
