From the Maker:
Lucy is an artisan handbag designer from Cambridge who has mastered the craft of leatherwork. Trained at Cordwainer’s College, London, she went on to receive The Worshipful Company of Cordwainer’s award for Excellence in Leather-craft. After a decade working in the industry, Lucy founded her own brand in 2020 to champion slow, heritage craft and low-impact production.
Her pieces blend traditional techniques with a contemporary eye, resulting in sculptural, wearable works of art. From her studio at Cockpit Arts, a thriving hub of makers in London, Lucy continues to grow her library of signature shapes.
