Get creative together in this fun, hands-on workshop designed especially for children and their grown-ups. Together you will make one beautiful mini terrarium to take home, a lovely little world in a glass, complete with soil, stones, moss, and plants.

About the Workshop:

There’s something magical about terrariums, they’re like tiny gardens that fit in the palm of your hand. In this special Parent & Child workshop, you’ll learn how to build one from scratch, working side by side with your little one. Together you’ll explore how plants live and grow in miniature ecosystems, while getting your hands dirty and having lots of fun along the way.

Each participant will be guided through every step of the process, from layering pebbles, soil and moss, to planting two hardy, easy-care plants that thrive indoors. To finish, you’ll get to personalise your terrarium with stones, shells or little decorations, making each one completely unique. It’s a lovely way to spend quality time together, spark creativity, and take home a lasting reminder of the day.

Not only will each child leave with their very own glowing mini terrarium, but they’ll also take home a little spray bottle and an easy-to-follow care guide, so they can look after their tiny garden and help it thrive all by themselves.

  • Date & Time: Saturday 11th April, 2:30pm–4pm (approx. 1.5 hour)

  • Location: Radical Living, 22A High Street, Lewes

  • Suitable for ages: 6+ (children must be accompanied by an adult)

  • Tickets: £48 for child and 1 adult = 1 terrarium
