Müll Club Zig Zag Recycled Soap Dish

Broca: These soap dishes are made from a plastic blend, mainly from Broca Cafe, which is based here in South East London. You'll be able to see the milk bottle cap colours coming through with the blue and green being some of the most prominent colours.

The plastic is hand delivered, on foot further minimising the carbon footprint of the recycled plastic.

Van'ish: The pink recycled plastic soap dish. This blend of plastics has been put together with the Vanish tubs and yoghurt pots of Brockley, South East London. These are a mixture of pink, orange and yellow.

Luur Pak: This soap dish has been created using mainly... with what seems to be everyone's favourite... Lurpak butter tubs and Philadelphia cheese pots. We get a lot of these plastics dropped off each week so it made sense to create a blend dedicated to this plastic waste. And I must say the greys are stunning. So if you're more about subtle shades then this is the one for you.

Take Out: This soap dish is made out of 100% recycled plastic waste collected from the community of Brockley. Each soap dish has saved approximately 76g of plastic from entering a flawed recycling system... incineration or landfill. That is equivalent to two large milk bottles and the lids. Each soap dish has a combination of plastic, it includes black and white single use cutlery and clear take away food containers. Giving this blend the name Take Out. As a lot of clear is used in this blend you really get to see the beautiful pattern of the plastic as it has flowed through the mould.

Blue Skies: This soap dish is made out of 100% recycled plastic waste collected from South East London. Each soap dish has saved approximately 64 g of plastic from entering a flawed recycling system... incineration or landfill. That is equivalent to two large milk bottles and the lids. Each soap dish has a combination of yoghurt pots.. in particular Fage and Sainsbury's own brand Greek Yoghurt, plus lots of white porridge pots, cream pots., baby food lids, and lots more.

Salt House: This recycled plastic soap dish has been made from recycled yoghurt pots from the community and specifically from the Salt House bottle shop in Brockley. The yoghurt pot sold in Salt House was the inspiration for this colour combination.

The plastics in these soap dishes were delivered by hand to the shop, further minimising the carbon footprint of our communities waste.

From the Maker:

Whilst the Zig Zag is stunning, it was chosen for practical reasons. This shape will hold your soap above the draining water, keeping it as dry as possible, and ensuring your soap lasts.

Every dish will be slightly different and unique to you, as no dish is the same.

What we love:

Each soap dish is the equivalent to approximately 2 large milk bottles and the lids worth of plastic!
